About Karen

Karen joined Hartlaw in 2004 as a legal secretary and is now working as a conveyancer, having passed her law examinations and still continues to study further. With ten years’ experience in our residential and commercial property teams, Karen is well placed to advise clients on all aspects of buying and selling homes, as well as buy to let or shared ownership properties.

Wetherby local, Karen enjoys a range of health and fitness activities outside her full time role at Hartlaw.

What’s important to her: “I really enjoy guiding people through the house buying process and seeing a sale or purchase go through.”
Three words that best describe Karen: Friendly, methodical, efficient

Recommendation: "What a wonderful experience we had with this company.  Fully attentive at all times.  Fabulous knowledge of the property details, polite, humorous and friendly at all times.  Nothing seemed too much trouble.  Karen was brilliant and we were so grateful to her." A Happy Client of Hartlaw LLP

Power of Attorney Refunds

The Office of the Public Guardian (the body sponsored by the Ministry of Justice who have responsibility for registration of Powers of Attorney) have announced that they have overcharged for the registration of Powers of Attorney between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017. This is because their operating costs reduced, but their fees did not. Accordingly, a refund can be claimed from 2nd February.
